2010 International Welding Show has opened today.

The opening ceremony was held in the morning with many attendants from home and abroad. A four day exhibition has started.

Pre-registration for entry are still accepted through are website.

Please experience the latest trends of welding technology which is the cornerstone of manufacturing.

In addition to the largest general area, there will be five special exhibit zones corresponding to the five forum themes,Friction Stir Welding, laser processing, micro joining, steel fabrication, and non-destructive inspection. This show covers the not too narrow and not too wide rage of industrial fields around welding industry. That is the reason why the majority of the visitors are from end-users groups.

Born in Tokyo in 1947. Graduated from Dokkyo University. In 1996 he presided over an international forum, "Amazon Future Forum", at Belem, Para, Brazil. In the following year the Para State chamber honored him with the prize of dedication. In December, 1998 he won the best prize of "The Tokyo Creation Award" for his creative activities as the first individual prize-winner.

 Dr. Hartmut Zefferer is Director of International Sales Asia with TRUMPF Laser- and Systemtechnik GmbH in Ditzingen, Germany. He works with TRUMPF since 1997 and is presently heading the sales activities of the TRUMPF business field laser technology in Asia. Prior to this, from 1990-1997, he was employed by Fraunhofer-Institut fur Lasertechnik in Aachen, Germany. As a scientist he worked on high power laser applications.
